Congratulations to Jingwen Corrigan and Amy Hsiung on being recognized as the December 2019/January 2020 Region 1 FCPS Cares Recipients of the Month for Region 1 by the Department of Human Resources. Congratulations, Ms. Corrigan and Ms. Hsiung!

Below is the write up submitted by Ms. Jamie Lane, principal of Oakton High School. 

Ms. Corrigan and Ms. Hsiung worked with her students to throw an outstanding Chinese New Year celebration after school for both students and staff. It was an amazing cultural experience for all involved! Students highlighted many Chinese cultural aspects for others to learn about. Students also enjoyed traditional games and cuisine. We are so thankful that they are at Oakton and took the extra time and effort to help plan such a great event!
