Jump Start Program: 

We will be hosting a two day optional program to help prepare freshman for the coming school year. The program will be held on August 9^th and 10^th from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Oakton teachers will lead sessions on topics including study skills, literacy skills, math skills, and a general introduction to Oakton High School. Participants will get to hear from Oakton teachers and students regarding questions they have for the upcoming school year.

Participation is free and there may be transportation available. If you are interested in registering your rising 9^th grader, please fill out this form.

Freshmen/New Student Orientation: 

Our freshmen and new student orientation will be on August 18, 2021 from 9am-11:30am. At this event, students will hear from school leaders, meet with a school counselor and be given a tour of Oakton by students. Transportation will be provided to and from our feeder elementary schools if needed.  More information on the event can be found here.
