COVID-19 Vaccinations Available for Ages 12 and Up
As our community strives to achieve herd immunity, vaccinating children ages 12 and up is a critical step towards achieving that goal and will help to keep our schools healthy places to learn. We encourage everyone 12 years of age and older to get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible. Many locations offer same-day appointments, and some even have walk in availability. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or another adult at all community vaccination sites.
EOY Grading & Summer Credit Recovery Information
As we continue to make our way towards the end of the school year, we wanted to share some important reminders and updates about end-of-year grading flexibility. Additionally, we wanted to provide more information on our summer credit recovery program. Your student’s counselor remains the best point of contact for further questions that you may have. Parent Technology Help Desk
To support families who are working with their children during distance learning, Fairfax County Public Schools now has a Parent Technology Help Desk. The number is 1-833-921-3277 (833-921-FCPS). It will be answered by staff 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. If the help desk is unable to solve the issue on the phone with the parent or guardian, they will enter a ticket on the parent’s behalf and the request for help will be transferred to the appropriate FCPS team.
