EXHIBITION OF LEARNING  :

The 2018 Exhibition of Learning
Oakton High School is pleased to invite you to our annual Exhibition of Learning event on March 20 and 21 (with a snow date of April 4) from 8:30 AM to 2:40 P.M. During this event, Oakton students will display meaningful and well-developed projects showcasing their skills, passions, and most important learning across the disciplines. Please join us in celebrating the diversity of learning that is happening here at Oakton!

This year freshman and sophomore students will be presenting during through their health/P.E. period. Freshmen and sophomores who are not taking health or P.E. will be assigned a period to present. Upperclassmen are welcome and encouraged to participate.

How can I help my freshman or sophomore prepare for the Exhibition of Learning?
The students are preparing for the Exhibition of Learning through their English classes, but you could help your student to feel more comfortable presenting. Ask your student what he or she is planning to present. Listen to your students planned talking points. Encourage your student to elaborate and add details. Help him or her anticipate questions that observers may have.

SPIRIT OF EOL
